janusz, Thanks. I'm afraid that It won't make it here before christmas, since the Finnish post is having serious troubles with sorting all the packages. There have been serious delays and some people don't even receive mail every day. That's what you get when firing all the people and trying to replace them with french machines...
I managed to get a bit of work done today. As seen on my previous posts,
janusz was kind enough to make me a converter to get the ABS- warning light working properly. Since I don't have the hands of a chinese child, I nearly destroyed the whole circuit while soldering wires to it. Luckily enough, I managed to rescue it after visiting a nearby aftermarket shop to buy a proper soldering iron. I got it installed, but decided to use self stripping connectors instead of doing any soldering.
Here's the pcb installed. Thank god I labeled all the wires when I did the swap.
And the result, no more ABS- light!
I also purchased a new oil pressure switch some time ago. The old one was prone to flicker the warning light at startup. Replaced the switch and everything works as it is supposed to. I bought a 0,2bar instead of 0,15bar.
My next move is to sort out the fuel pressure issues once and for all. I have a hunch that the pump that I have now (Meat&Doria) is just rubbish and is not able to create enough flow. I also noticed while driving that the battery voltage dropped from 13,7v to 13,3v after about 15km's (headlights on and blower at second speed). I believe that the pump heats up for some reasond and begins to draw alot more current.
